If you have severe swelling affecting your airway, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or signs of a serious spreading infection — call 000 or go immediately to your nearest hospital emergency department.
What We Can Help With
Common dental emergencies we assist with:
• Severe toothache or dental pain
• Broken, chipped, or fractured tooth
• Knocked-out (avulsed) tooth
• Lost filling or crown
• Dental abscess or swelling
• Broken denture or orthodontic appliance
Call (02) 8054 4331 as soon as possible. We will advise on immediate steps and arrange an appointment promptly.
If a tooth is knocked out: Handle by the crown, not the root. Rinse gently. Reinsert into socket immediately if possible, or store in milk. Seek dental attention immediately.

Dr Pierre Dentistry is at Suite 177, 161 New South Head Road, Edgecliff — a short walk from Edgecliff station on the Eastern Suburbs line and on the New South Head Road bus routes. Patients come to us from Double Bay, Darling Point, Rushcutters Bay, Paddington, Woollahra, Point Piper, Bellevue Hill, Rose Bay, Bondi Junction, Elizabeth Bay and Potts Point, as well as the CBD.
